This video was shot today in Denham Springs, LA after we got through salvaging what we could from our belongings. I was so happy to see that this guitar had survived the influx of water. The flooding took a toll on so many people here, including my family and myself and I felt that God was calling me to just go out and sit and worship Him for a few moments through this song and to share it with some folks. God's amazing grace is always there, even in the midst of the storms of life. He wants us to praise Him in the storm and to praise Him when it's all good. TODAY - I praise Him in the midst of the storm and flooding. Stuff can be replaced, but peoples lives cannot. Today, I celebrate all of the lives that were spared during this catastrophic event.
The media is not sharing what is truly going on in Denham Springs, Baton Rouge and in the Livingston and Ascension Parish regions. There are thousands of hurting people here and it looks like a war zone. Debris and houses destroyed everywhere. To all that are here in the area lending a helping hand, bringing in supplies and serving - THANK YOU and GOD BLESS YOU. God is going to bless you for being His hands and feet.
Just like the flood waters have washed away things here, Jesus' amazing grace is ever so present and He is washing the hearts of the hurting and the lost. Please pray for the people of this region as they persevere and push forward. Please pray for me because today is my birthday and I having a hard time dealing with all of this. God bless!
