I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone that has been praying for us and for all of our family and friends in the Denham Springs/Baton Rouge/Gonzales/Livingston & Ascension Parish region of Louisiana. Thank you for all of the Facebook messages, email and text messages – they have been greatly appreciated. The flooding wreaked havoc on so many people there, including us. Many of you have been wondering about what’s going on with both my wife and I, and asking about what we lost, what we are going to do now and how you can help us.
So here it is in a nutshell - we lost all of our appliances and most of our kitchen stuff, our bedroom furniture/bed and mattresses, our couch and some additional living room furniture, some clothing, some electronics and music equipment, a lot of things that were family heirlooms/gifts/photos that can not be replaced, BUT two things that we did not lose was our faith and trust in Jesus Christ. We also did not lose any lives within our family either, just stuff - praise the Lord. Stuff can be replaced, lives cannot.
Due to the destruction in the region, for a few days we drove back and forth from over an hour away and salvaged what we could and put it back in storage in Denham Springs. During that time-frame we found out that our insurance company is not going to cover any of the stuff that we lost due to a clause within the policy. Currently we are seeking God’s face as to where He wants us to reside. The last couple of days we have been visiting some different places and checking out some areas and housing. We have also been considering and praying about trying to acquire a motor home to travel, live and do ministry in. We covet your prayers as we seek the proper direction that God wants us to take. Please pray that it happens as soon as possible so we can get set back up and running and focused on booking ministry events and on getting me back on the road doing worship events, concerts and speaking engagements. Please pray for financial provision as we start over, replace items and setup our home again. Please pray for both of us as we deal with the stress of all this and for our health. All of this has taken a toll on both of us health wise, but at the same time and in some ways – it has been strengthening both of us for what is to come.
Last, but not least, please pray for us as we prepare to release this new album that my production team and I have been working on for well over a year now. It is finally finished and the mastering is done. Some of you have recently heard a few of the songs live at events that I’ve done in your areas and your response to them have been incredible. I am so looking forward to sharing these musical gifts from God with the world. God has transformed my music and my life over the last couple of years and I am definitely looking forward to sharing it with all of you. A special thank you to everyone that has been praying for this album and that provided support during this recording process.
God bless each of you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you have ideas or want to offer support in some shape, way or fashion during this time of transition. Thank you and be blessed!
